Tucson's Amazing Tattoos

Have you ever wondered why someone got a tattoo and the reason why they got it? I choose this topic/project because I've always asked people what their tattoos meant when they came up to my register at Walgreen's, now that Ms. Newman told us about this project i will be able to document all the tattoos and amazing reasons why people got them.. A lot of my research will revolve around the book I choose which is “ The Mammoth Book of Tattoos. This book doesn't have just the tattoos it also has the meanings and reason   This topic is important to me because every single in my family that is old enough to get a tattoo in my family has one. The question I hope to answer through this research is why do people get their tattoos.   

The things that I need for my research is the book that I have which is “The Mammoth Book Of Tattoos” the book will help with making your understand some of the background on my topic such as the mind of tattooing, the work and idea of tattoos. One thing about tattoos is there is more then one style of tattoos they have to offer but i would like to learn more about the meaning behind the different types.In order to do something with my research i should talk to people with tattoos and also some tattoo artist around my area.

Some of the information i will need can be found on the internet or magazines specialized on tattoos and The book “ The Mammoth Book Of Tattoos” that I have.The expert I have chosen is a man named Hector. He is a local tattoo and piercing artist at Enchanted Dragon near my neighborhood. The reason i chose him as my expert because he has traveled and has been invited to many events for tattooing and has also received an award for best tattoo artist in Arizona. Hector had become a close friend of mine in the past to years because of my girlfriend and her family, they visit him very often and known him in his younger years like a family friend.

My goal at the end of my research is to have great content, facts, quotes and meanings and even more knowledge on my topic and help others learn more. I will also have my blogs of tattoos and their stories. The reason the topic is viable because not everyone completely understands the work, trust and dedication of people's tattoos and the meanings behind them.
